Today, this rare apparatus serves the Dallas Bay FD in Hixon, TN as Ladder 3.

This rig is a bit different for this thread.  Instead of multiple departments, this is an example of an apparatus that has gone through several rebuilds, changing it's appearance completely from the original.  The Silent One calls it a "George Washington's Axe".

In the late 1990's, the body and cab roof were destroyed in a roll-over wreck.  Department members sectioned another roof, from a junkyard, onto the cab and it was sent to 4-Guys for replacement of the pump, tank and body.
