I took part in a private function for a friends charity auction donating our time to his school. The auction took in a nice sum of money for the school. It was held 5-5-07. Here are a couple of pics from the event. It was hot that day, but it was alot of fun !!!

32 Years Old ( give and take ) and she is going strong !!! What a sight ! Yesterday afternoon some of the guys and I had a pumper exercise. Through the use of a drafting tank we shuttled water from a hydrant to this tank, and you'll see it in the pictures, then exercised the pumps by drafting from the tank, thru the pump, and back into the tank. Good for the tank, and a nice exercise for the truck overall. The Crown was awesome, at one point the suction was working so good it actually pulled up the liner into the 6 soft suction, we had to shutdown, then start back up again. The Crown finally was able this day to get to pump, with enough water at almost full capacity and the pictures will show that she's still got it after all these years !!!!!!!

Now she needs a good wash and wax !!

Thanks Keith. That tank we were using was just a frame, a tarp and some clips holding it together, the 6" soft suctions darn near collapsed the frame, as you can see it bending some from the soft suction coming off of my truck. But we had about 2000 gallons in it at most times of the day. She runs strong and pumps strong. The straight stream was the best, the distance it could cover was amazing!

Dogs love fire trucks. We adopted a 7 year old yellow lab from Labrador Retrievers of Fla. last weekend. On Sunday I brought the Crown over to the house to wash it, and wondered if our new Lab would like being in or around the fire truck. The pics will tell you how everything went <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Lol' />

That's cute, Frank. Out of three dogs, I think only one of ours is remotely interested in the apparatus. He used to climb up into one of the ALFs and sit on the seat. I have a picture of him in it somewhere. He also liked to crawl under it when we had it parked at our old house.

Right, that's the Rocket Man himself. Also known as PORKY, the 50-pound Beagle. (And probably more than that now.) <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Who says you can't take your fire truck to your new house, think the homeowners association might send me a letter about parking it at my house for a few hours? She fit in the driveway with room to spare, that's 28 1/2 feet sitting there. Boy the neighbors were like what the heck............
