5-1-1-A
holy crap ! Is this at enine 22 also? It must be fun navigating your way around that apparatus floor
I think the rig modified and assigned as Collapse Unit 5-2-2 is a '95 Seagrave TR that was formerly assigned to T26.
Is this correct? And is it still kept at fleet?
is that the current one their using as a collapse rig i thought they got something newer?
They do have a newer Rig which numbered as 521.The rig that you are talking about (522) which is an ex-Truck company chassis carries additional "Shoring" material and supplies to supplement the equipment and material which is carried on 521.

[bThe Command Vans have a regularly assigned driver as our Command Vans respond to all confirmed fires city wide. The Chicago Fire Department runs with five Command Vans.Four of them are in the City Proper and are numbered 271,272,273 and 274.The fifth Command Van which is numbered as 278 is stationed at Crash Station 1, on the south side of the Field (Truck 63's house) at O'Hare International Airport and is a much larger and longer Unit which is painted White over Yellow of course.
