DCFD Photos, old or new
John,

Fantastic pics as usual. When I got my CNN breaking news alert I wondered if you were there with your camera. I should have known the answer to that! :-)

Well if you could read the letters on the back door you would know it's from the Shop . It's called Car 9. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BananaMan.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='BananaMan' />

Now the question is whay was ACFD there. I guess they wanted to see how to fight a fire in a Govt building. TL# 3 was not there cause it was at the Shop

Because we asked them to, Our MCU was at Singer, and they are the closest appropriate M/A unit.

A large part of my collection was purchased from a GOOD man, John Floyd. I give him FULL credit on his work, although I may miss something. Thanks John. Also Scott Mattson, Warren Jenkins, Michael Schwartzberg, and Mike Sanders. Thanks Guys.

OK, that explains TL 3 and Arlington.

What about the Secret Service and their Emergency Services Units? Anyone know as I have not seen them around for a while.

Terry,

The only Pierce's replaced with the Seagrave order were 4, 8, 16, and 33. Engine 33's Pierce went to Engine 5, and Engine 4's Pierce went to 20. I'm not sure where the others went, most likely reserve status.

Thanks for the info! For as much time as I spend in DC I really don't keep up with who has what.I thought I read that info about the Seagrave somewhere.
