DCFD Mobile Command Unit #1 on scene at the 2008 Independence Day Celebration on the National Mall. S-602 is a 2003 Pierce Lance / LDV, she rolls on TAK4 suspension over a Detroit 60. She is sitting next to an MPD ESS I believe is an F450 conversion by Odyssey.

Is there any new rescues on order. Any pics of the collapse rescue support units. What ever happened to the Pierce tiller that was used byT15 I read that it failed ladder testing; do they still have it or are there plains to repair it.
Terry
That is not a rumor that is fact. One ordered and being built - all three rescues will eventually be replaced and built on the same spec. And yes they will be similiar to Berwyn Heights squad as were the squads in Burtonsville (Mont. Co.) and Glen Dale (PG). The BHVFD put together a nice rescue and that is also a fact............. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Looks like a Light Wagon... Not sure if there is MORE to the rig but the light tower is able to be seen.

Actually, it has one of the most impressive light towers I have seen in a while. I didn't get a shot of it fully elevated and turned on though.
