Today I was able to take the Fairfax County fire Explorers to DC and show them some different apparatus and just to have some fun taking pics in DC. Everyone that we met today was very hospitable and beyond generous. A great time was had by all. You guys and gals in DC are beyond awsome. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yourock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I have a feeling we'll be back later this year for more pics and t-shirts. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> First up is a group shot in front of truck 10.(running a reserve as truck 388.)
The guys over at Engine 20 Truck 12 were awsome! We all were able to learn some history about the DCFD, and the crew was nice enough to show us photos of thier past rigs, crews, and how the station has changed.
I was told by the members of Engine 7 that this was a VERY rare shot. These rigs just came in today. They are so new that the hard sleeves are still in cardboard and a cover on the front. Thanks to the members of Engine 7 and Engine 10 for taking us inside the apparatus shops.

After talking to some members of certain crews, she may not be the only tower for long. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Not sure if it's true though, with the economy and all.

Glad to see old 18 is still alive and well.
Kill 'em all, let Allah sort 'em out. NEVER forget 9/11/01 WTC, Pentagon, Pa. Avenge the acts with NO mercy.
Thanks to ALL the Brothers who were there 9/11/01 and afterwards. Words can never say what appreciation we have for you all.
I have the following wagons in additon to 18 and 26 as receiving 2008 Seagraves; 19, 28, 30. Were the assignments changed, do I have bad info, or have there been FIVE 2008 Seagraves delivered to DC this year?
