If you want to see what to do with apparatus come to Loudoun and see E-23 and L-19. Ray Muth is a good contact and he is on this forum

The Pierce/LTI former Truck 10 and 15 is in reserve. I saw it in the barn behind 24 as well. Maybe they will reassign Truck 8's ALF/LTI to Truck 10, since they are having all the problems with the E\-One truck. Has anybody found out what happened to Engine 1. I heard it is still at the shops, which would make it almost a year that it has been there.

Thanks Pie & Pat!!!! T10's E-JUNK should be replaced. Seeing the city is all TDA's except Tower 3!

I saw T-8 at J&T today. It's been there for a week or two. I also heard that a new Scope is possibly on order or going to be ordered in the near future.

Can you post a link to the article on firehouse. I can't imagine they would go back to Pierce, but stranger things have happened.

The 2 new Rescues will be Pierce.

3 ladder trucks are going to Seagrave for a refurb. 2 will come back and we will get a spare ladder from the 3rd.

Thanks Cosgrove. I wonder why the switch from Seagrave to Pierce on the Rescue. Also, any idea what trucks will be refurbed, and where they will end up when they return?

R2 Seagrave looked like a pretty sweet looking apparatus. Are they having problems with it; why the switch?

DC, or anyone else could easily do an add on to the Arlington County order and get a very nice short wheelbase workhorse pumper. Arrow XT chassis would work well in DC.

I could be mistaken, but I believe Arlington bought the last of the Arrow XT chassis

Unless you have brand, brand, brand new information, there has been no news or rumor of Pierce getting rid of the ArrowXT. I seriously doubt that they would do that. There are enough departments that won't buy a velocity, impel, or quantum so they need to keep the ArrowXT.

Trust me, the Arrow-XT chassis isn't going anywhere..... maybe a little re-vamp / re-design work, but the Arrow-XT is still very much part of the Pierce line-up.
Mechanical engineers build weapons, whereas civil engineers build targets.
