  Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous
Posted by: mnsand - 06-03-2007, 09:23 AM - Forum: Apparatus Photos - Replies (5482)

A recent trip down to the Southern part of Virginia allowed me the opportunity to stop off at some fire departments to catch up on some fire apparatus photos. Most of these FD's were off of the Interstate 81 corrider of the state, which goes from Winchester down to Tennessee.

First up is Middletown, Virginia in Frederick County. Middletown is located outside of Winchester.

Aviation Photos - Post your "AirPics" here!
Posted by: firstduephotos - 05-31-2007, 08:17 PM - Forum: All Other Photos - Replies (1003)

Hi All,

I thought I would start a thread for everyone to post their aviation photos here. We are just starting the 2007 Airshow season so I think its a good time. The thread is certainly open to any kind of aviation. I look forward to seeing everyones photos and I'm sure others would be interested too! No limitation on when you took the photo.

Here's one I shot last season at Beverly MA Airport during an open house featuring three aircraft belonging to The Collings Foundation. This is the B-17 "Nine-O-Nine" during a very short period when the clouds broke as the sun was starting to go down for the day...
