Friday evening a family moving in a U-Haul truck was towing their SUV near Colfax & Quentin when it came loose from the trailer. The vehicle jumped a curb and traveled downhill into a storm water pond. Aurora Fire responded but are only equipped to handle surface rescues, so mutual aid from South Metro was requested. The SMFR Dive Team arrived a short time later to hook the SUV for the tow truck.
Empty vehicle hauling trailer and the roof of the SUV...
I'm looking for pictures of some front bumpers with extrication tool and hose line. We're looking for ideas to secure 100' of 1 3/4" line and nozzle not preconnected to the underside of the diamond plate cover.
08/25/14 New Haven, CT- New Haven Firefighters received a 911 call and an AFA, shortly after six o'clock in the evening, from Delaney's Tap Room, reporting smoke in the basement. Responding firefighters found a two story frame, residential over commercial with fire showing on the outside of the building extending up the siding. Live wires were also arcing on the establishment and poles near by. Firefighters attempted to make an interior attack, but were thwarted by the catacomb like basement of the nearly 150 year old building, the heavy smoke and electrically charged premises. Battalion Chief Gould pulled members from the building and transmitted the second alarm.
Companies prepared for the firefight as heavy smoke pushed from the building. Due to the construction of the building and numerous additions over the years the fire would burn for over six hours requiring the need for two more alarms. Thick, acrid, brown smoke poured from establishment, blanketing the area and making the exterior firefight extremely difficult.
Parts of the 150 year old building eventually collapsed into itself helping firefighter gain the upper hand and douse the fire. Heavy equipment would have to be brought in the next day to assist in extinguishing the pockets of fire. The establishment was a total loss.
Multiple firefighter were transported with various injuries from the blaze. The state fire marshal was brought in to help with determining a cause of the blaze.
I haven't seen too many in my area. Right now this is the only one I have seen. I think most departments shied away from them due to cost (Impala is cheaper)
LAFD did a Stand By during a LAPD SWAT Operation to take a "person of interest" in 3 different homicides this morning in Los Angeles. LAPD SWAT took the person into custody without incident.

Looking for a photo of the 1957 Ahrens Fox Midland Park had (FCB-1000 #2004). It is supposed to be in the Andy Leider collection, but I haven't seen any photos in the forums from the shows there. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone might have an extra Seagrave nameplate laying around they'd be interested in parting with. If you happen to have one drop me a message or post here with a price. Thanks!
