The fact that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized on the same day in CO makes perfect biblical sense Leviticus 20:13 says, "If a man lies with another man they should be stoned."

Boston has placed Engine 11 back in service running from the quarters of 9 Engine.  This is due to on going work on the Callahan Tunnel.  It is anticipated the in service time will be about three months.  Anyone with better info is welcome to chime in

fire was in Msgr Scanlon HS in the Bronx. Fire started in the boiler then spread to walls and at one point through the roof. 2nd time in a month didnt have my gear so i had to use my phone.

According to the lead news story on the Harrisburg PA CBS station at 10 pm tonight, American LaFrance is closing the Ephrata and all other facilities including South Carolina due to an "unexpected current financial condition". Parts and service will come from a third party vendor.

 

A few years ago I posted pix with no problems.  Now I have more I'd like to share, using Windows 8.1.  All photos are .jpg.  After getting instructions from Google for resizing "pixels" to "KB", I made seven tries for one photo before I finally got it small enough to post (American Eagle).  When I hovered the mouse over each of the next six pictures it said they were all well under 200.  When I tried to attach, only one of the six did so.  Display said all the others were too big.  I've now taken one down as far as 600 x 604 & it's still too big.  Obviously this site works well for many, and I'm surely glad it does, but this 64-year old's never faced such issues, and my pilot light's about outta gas.
