Hello All!! I currently am working on downsizing my collection a little bit. I am hoping these items can find good homes where they can be enjoyed. I have a large collection of Chicago FD photos. The collection includes the following that were current as of about 4/5 years ago:
Every Firehouse in Chicago
Every Engine Company
Every Truck Company
Every Squad Company (Including ARFF)
Numerous Special Units
The collection also includes numerous departments with black over red apparatus as well. There are well over 250 pictures in this collection. If anyone is interested in the collection (4 Albums Total) please let me know and we will discuss pricing. I would prefer to sell this as a collection as that is how I bought them. If you would like a list and some pics of what is in each I can also compile a list. Please let me know.
Thank you,
Michael Bastian

Old FDNY pumper currently in Nova Scotia |

Greetings, everyone. A question for the FDNY buffs out there. There's a former FDNY Mack currently serving Walden, Nova Scotia. It's a 1980 Mack CF611, additional details below. After its FDNY service, it was refurbed and sold to Chester Basin, Nova Scotia in the early 90s (possibly via Almonte Fire Trucks) and later sold to Walden.
So here's the question - in my notes, I have it as FDNY Engine 92. A friend researching the history of the truck hasn't been able to find anything indicating that this is the case - E92 apparently used an ALF. I have no idea where I got the E92 info.
Appreciate it if anyone has any idea where this truck served while in NY. Here are some serial numbers:
CF611F10 chassis
Chassis #2071
Pump #59415
Delivery date 6/18/1980
Much thanks,
Dean

On 12-27-13 a box was transmitted at 07:54 for a house fire at 2021 SE161 Ct.
The reponse was E31, E7, E29, E30, Truck 7, C3, C4, Gresham Truck 71 and C7.
It was B shift, so Gresham crews were manning E31. They reported fire showing.
Approaching on 162nd, I saw a large column of smoke from quite a distance.
Engine 7 taking a line to the front door.
One of the Martin brothers taking the line in.
The other brother pulling more line.
Truck 7 was opening the roof, but there was too much smoke for a photo.
Engine 7 out for a breather.
