Posted by: Guest - 11-16-2013, 02:07 PM - Forum: Fire Scene Photos - Replies (3)

At 03:24 a box was transmitted for a house fire at 10806 NE Prescott St.

Engine 12 was first due and reported fire showing. Several minutes after they

arrived and a few minutes before I arrived, the entire first floor flashed over.

A man and a large dog escaped without injury, but 3 other dogs were lost.

11-7-13 at 1300 a box was tansmitted for a house fire at 1039 114th Pl.

A neighbor reported smoke coming from the eaves of the house next door.

Arriving right behind first due Engine 7, it appeared there was an attic fire.

As Scott made entry, Darrell on Truck 7 brought up a ladder, then Truck 7's crew went to the roof.

  Portland House Fire 10-23-13
Posted by: Guest - 11-16-2013, 12:38 PM - Forum: Fire Scene Photos - Replies (9)

10-23-13 around 17:45 a box was tansmitted for a house fire at 9943 E. Burnside St. The fire was actually about 1/2 block north of E. Burnside on 100th Ave.

It was an abandoned building, boarded up and surrounded by trees, making it challenging for photos.

First due Eng. 19 stopped at a hydrant nearly in front of the property. They stopped close to the curb to leave room in the street for other arriving apparatus.

There was a little better visibility on the B side, but it was close to a fence, giving limited room.

  Quick Detroit trip 11/01-11/03
Posted by: signal29 - 11-12-2013, 07:36 PM - Forum: Fire Scene Photos - Replies (13)

Myself and two others made a quick trip to the D after all the festivities of Devils Night.  Boy did it die down, the arsonists must have needed a rest because it was extremely quiet for Detroit.  Here is what we caught all in one day.

A pin job on Gratiot and Marcus just happened to be down the street at the Gratiot and Harper.

  Uploading with Windows 8.1 Troubles
Posted by: Guest - 11-11-2013, 07:08 PM - Forum: Q & A - Replies (4)

Been having troubles with uploading pics with my usual method of copying & pasting the link from my photobucket account into the reply box here on the site.  Trouble is that I am unable to paste the link.  I am been able to work around this by uploading straight from my cpu library, but that doesn't help in keeping the bandwidth down for Ed.

Also, when I try to reply to a certain post, that post is not being quoted in my reply like before.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks
