  Eagan MN 09-30-13 1255am-3rd Alarm House+M/A
Posted by: grubber33270 - 10-03-2013, 10:49 PM - Forum: Fire Scene Photos - Replies (21)

Eagan Station's 4 and 3 were sent to a Reported Structure Fire off of Spruce St in the Southeast section of the city. Chief 3/Fire Marshall went onscene with flames through the alpha side roof and requested a 2nd alarm. I went by Station 4 (First due Engine) just as they were pulling out of the barn so I followed them to the scene. crews were defensive for most of this Fire they did attempt an interior attack twice but withdrew due to the heavy volume of fire, and structural integrity.  eventually all 5 of Eagan's Fire Stations along with M/a from Rosemount with an Engine and Utility made it to the scene. Mendota Heights Fire assisted in covering Eagan for calls for the Morning. and Healtheast ambulance, Eagan PD also assisted on the scene. I left around 0300 and it appeared they were just getting the upper hand of it.

here is the First as I walked up just before the 2nd due Engine 3 arrived.

An ad in October Fire Trader magazine has an auction for Slagle's Fire Equipment fire apparatus and equipment liquidation.  It says they are closing due to the economy and industry downturn.  The link to the auction is www.motleys.com.

  Account Question?
Posted by: CCFR-45 - 10-02-2013, 01:06 PM - Forum: Q & A - Replies (9)

Hey Guys

My name is Steven Bates, I've been a member with the forum (CCFR-45) for a while now and I'm guessing I forgot to renew my subscription or something during my move across the state and now my account is gone? I know I didn't sign in for a while, But I didn't think it was that long. Just got busy with life and new house didn't have internet and all that. Anyways I signed up again and payed for a new subscription under the same username. But Basically all my post count and information on my old post is gone. Any way to get this information back?

I private messaged one of the Admins but haven't received a response.

Just curious is all.

Thanks for any help,
Steven Bates

  MA, NH, ME Trip Questions
Posted by: Guest - 10-02-2013, 10:10 AM - Forum: Fire Service Related - Replies (7)

Hello New Englanders!

My wife and I will be exploring the City of Boston and the Route 1 area up to Portland for a couple days .  I'm familiar with the Boston Metro Firehouses but not really with anything north of there.  Just curious if anyone has suggestions on good fire related stops / photo ops along the way.  In my searching online I've also found a term I'm unfamiliar with... What is a "Desk Box"?

Thanks in advance!
