Attleboro, MA Working Fire 40 Brown St 1/21/20
Posted by: edburke - 01-21-2020, 10:28 PM - Forum: Fire Scene Photos - Replies (9)

Sitting at home with no radios on, I looked down at a BNN page reporting a working fire in Atttleboro at 40 Brown St.  I immediately jumped up, grabbed the camera and headed out the door since it was about 1/2 mile from the house.  Upon my arrival, companies were opening up and had a pretty good upper hand on the job.  Outside temperature according to the car was 16 degrees-it could have been a long night if it wasn't for a good stop.

  Kansas CITY,Mo community ambulance
Posted by: brw1249 - 01-14-2020, 11:30 PM - Forum: Photo Requests-NO IMAGES IN THIS FORUM! - No Replies

in the 1960s-1970s KANSAS City, Mo had various private ambulance companies working and vying for runs and patients. Community Ambulance was one of them. They cobbled together some old box type delivery trucks into box style ambulances.  Years ago I found the history of this company and a lot of photos. They called the truck ambulances "Tuna trucks". They had wood raps to move the cots inside the windowless box.
So I have been trying to locate the information and photos of this ambulance company. They had a very fascinating story and great pics of the Tuna Trucks...

Maybe someone will know where to locate this information and pass it on.  thank you..

Would anyone have photos of the officer's side and rear or the Ford L - Grumman short wheel base pumpers from the early-80's?  Would you also know the wheel base measurment ?

  Detroit-Dwelling Fire-11/1/19 6343 Vaughan

Devil's night has officially been declared erradicated.

https://www.metrotimes.com/detroit/decad...d=23012915

I can confirm it, making it to a few jobs over 3 nights and not getting much to shoot.  This was the best of the bunch.  A dwelling fire in a 2-1/2 story wood frame that was a 20 minute drive from where I was sitting at Gratiot/Conner.
