Looking for a White with Blue stripe ALF single axle quint, it had a raised roof, and I believe it was from Missouri. This truck was featured at FDIC a few years ago.

 

Also looking for a Freightliner Columbia/S&S tandem axle elliptical tanker from around 2007 build date. I remember the truck is from up East somewhere, and believe it was tanker 7, and the department name possibly started with a B? I also remember the department website being prominent on the side of the truck, but can't remember the department it was from.

Took this as I was leaving a 2-11.

 

TL-14, TL-37, and TL-39 received new E\-One rigs:

 

Lincoln Square Lanes was Chicago's oldest bowling alley, located on the second floor of the structure; a hardware store occupied the ground floor. Fire was reported about half an hour after the employees of LSL left for the night.  A mayday was issued when a firefighter was unaccounted for after his company was ordered out of the building and operations went defensive.  He was located safe and sound and the mayday secured, but the fire continued to grow into a 3-11 conflagration. The old bowstring truss roof above the pressed tin ceiling was in before I arrived on scene to assist with the 5-11 Club canteen.

 

My view upon arrival, after checking in with my fellow club members:

 

I was looking at the FDIC 2016 pics and got to thinking about the Chicago squads. Is rosenbauer still going to build them or since Smeal had several Snorkels and Squirts at FDIC it would make sense to cancel the order with Rosenbauer and go with Smeal

 

Any thoughts? 

Anyone get any pics from FDIC this year for those of us not fortunate enough to be able to attend?

I just ran across these photos from 2014 and thought it was interesting.

Sta 7 was dispatched for a citizen assist. On arrival, we found a girl on the

2nd floor of a large playhouse. With her was one of her dogs who climbed

the ladder but could not get down.

Using a sheet of plywood as a ramp, the dog was able to slide down.
