While looking around on Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus I came across this. I do believe its the former Ladder 4 from Rockaway Point in NYC that I thought was damaged during hurricane Sandy.

Fdny has a medic unit being built by customworks. I saw on there website under work in progress page; appears to be a chevy or gmc chasis.

Anybody have anymore info?

Miami-Dade will receive (6) new 75' single rear axle Sutphen tower ladders april/may of this year. The first one was on display recently at the Florida Fire Chiefs show in Daytona Bch.

last month it was painted white over red but will be repainted the Silver over lime green colors of Miami-Dade Fire before delivery late this month or early next month.

  Denver Fire w/ Exposures 1/30/16

Just before sunrise DFD was called to 1845 S. Yuma Street for a house fire.  Upon arrival they found two houses with fire showing, 3 vehicles on fire and explosions.  Two extra engines and one extra truck over the 1st alarm were called.

  Need alittle help with an L.A. rig but no pic....

So today friend of mine says they saw a L.A. truck on a flatbed I-90 west bound in Rapid City, SD but said they it wasent a new engine or tiller, so my question is, is L.A. City or County getting any new specialized equipment ?

Shortly after 10 AM on 1-21-16, AACo Fire Alarm dispatched Eng 33 for a Car Fire with Multiple Calls. I arrived at the scene about the same time as Engine 332
