At 1501 a box was transmitted for an apartment fire at 14021 SE Stark St.
Response was E7, 30,31,19, T2, T25 R7, C3, C2.
Truck 7, normally first due, was rescuing a 91 year old woman who had fallen down a narrow stairway.
I arrived right behind Rescue 7 and found a 2-story apartment building with
a porch on fire and fire extending into the apartment and the attic.
An 1-3/4 line from Engine 7 quickly knocked down the fire on the porch while another line was extended into the apartment.
FF Lyman back-stretching a line toward the street where Engine 31 was laying in from a hydrant.
The inside crew using hydraulic ventilation.
Truck 2 with its crew of Trainees arrived to ladder the building.
Engine 31 working on the porch.
The Trainees, who graduated yesterday, went to the roof to ventilate.
When they opened the roof, the Red Devil popped out !
Engine 7s crew getting a quick drink and break.
Chris Babcock had Command, assisted by Ass't Chief Norr and Safety Chief Williams.

Looking for images of X-East Point, GA 1949 Chevrolet pumper. It was later sold to the City Of Peachtree City, GA in 1966 when they organized their FD. Our department still has the rig. I am trying to find a good foto of it in service with EPFD. All they have is a long shot of it in front of station one with several other rigs. Working on a history of the PCFD for our 50th anniversary next year. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Our Fiscal Year 2015-16 Budget (Starting July 1) provides funding for the following items:
Brand new Engine 17/Ladder 7/District 7 Firehouse: To be built next door to the current house, closer to Winter St. Current house to be demolished upon completion.
Brand New Engine 42/Rescue 2/District 9 Firehouse: Current firehouse to be razed, companies to be relocated during construction (Rumor is R2 to E52/L29, D9 to E39/L26 & E42 to stay on site in a trailer).
Extensive (Multimillion Dollar) renovations to Engine 50 & Engine 33/Ladder 15.
Hopefully this is only the beginning! Last new firehouse built by the City was E28/TL10 in 1984 (Both E10/TL3/R1/Div 1 & MU1 were built by developers in exchange for the land on which they sit)
