During mid-May I took a business trip to northwest Arkansas and had some good luck photographing apparatus. 

 

The conference I attended was in Springdale, which is served by six stations.  Station 1 is near downtown and houses seven rigs.  Brush 1.

Stockton ordered a Rosenbauer Haz-Mat a few months ago, and just ordered 3 Engines and a TDA from Rosenbauer.. All on the Commander chassis. Also the Chief is departing after 2 1/2 years.

BCFD has an approval trip to Pierce anybody know that they are ordering

Although I'm not happy with the way they turned out, here are some photos I got from the Pleasantville, NY Firefighters Parade this past Friday night.

Pleasantville is located about a 1/2 hour north of the Bronx/NYC, in Westchester County.

At 1516 Engine 2, Truck 2 and Engine 30 were dispatch to an accident on Marine Drive with someone pinned in. This 10 mile

stretch of Marine Drive is a 2-lane road along the Columbia river. Over the years it has been the scene of many

serious accidents; some fatalities and some vehicles into the river. This year I have covered at least four, including

3 fatals with cars going into the river.


Overall scene. The car barely visible on the right in the distance was also involved.



This car was headed in the other direction. They saw the badly damaged vehicle heading for them in the wrong lane.

They turned into the shoulder, hit the grass and spun around. The 2nd car struck the rear with minor damage.
