I agree--the Velocity and Impel just don't look right...and the names leave something to be desired as well.

Nice shots Kevin! I was so anxious to see what these new wagons would look like and they actually look better than I thought!

Can't wait to see one of these in my neck of the woods soon <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='^_^' />

Thanks for the shots, plain old fire engine made to go and put fires out. I question the tank size, looks like 500 given the body.

Here's a couple of new pieces Baltimore placed in service this summer.

They run out of Fire Supply to deliver supplies, equipment, etc.

I think they look alot better then the ALF Eagle. We call ours the "Winnebago". I'd take a Velocity or Impel over it anyday but I agree the traditional Arrow XT and Saber look good.

Thanks, Sam and Kurt. They also have a new van(unlettered), but that's all that's new out there.
Here is Medic 23 one of two Medics put inservice when Truck Company 2 was disbanded.

Housed at Steadman Station.
And here is Medic 24 which also was put inservice. It is housed at Oldtown Station (E6,T1,BC 2, AF2 M7 )

Both these units were Reserve Units which were taken at different times of the year but they are the current units until there new International/Hortons come in.

Sam, what is left in Steadman these days. Last I was there the house was loaded. There was a medic, B.C 2, Engine 23, a 1974 Seagrave, Rescue 1, an MB Mack, Airflex 2, and the fire alarm trucks on Lombard St. On Eutah, there was A.T. 102, Engine 39, another medic, and a rear mount American LaFrance.
You have,

E23 BC6 M1 M22 M23 AF2 HM1 HM3 SRO1 Collapse1 Reserve Rescue1 EMS2

I think thats most of it.

You left off Rescue 1. Also, Isn't Airflex 1 at Steadman and Airflex 2 at Oldtowne? Sure is a sad site to see all the companies that have been closed over the years from Steadman. When it first opened in the mid 70's it housed Engines 15,23,59, Truck 2, Water Tower 1, Airflex 1, Scuba 1, Medic 1, BC 6, and assorted reserve apparatus.

^ Yes, you are correct, Engine 38 was assigned there for a short time before being relocated back to their original quarters. There was also talk, from what I have been told, that original plans called for another truck to be reloacted to the Steadman Station when it opened, but that never happened.
I may be wrong but wasn't Engine 27 assigned there for a short stint, and Battalion Chief 5 was also assigned there.
