Those were the days. Baltimore could have a 9 alarm fire and handle it with companies still available. Now a 3 alarm goes out and they start calling for help.

I was thinking that as late as 1950 one could start at Engine 7 on Eutaw St and walking at a brisk pace for 1 hour see 16 fire department buldings. Including Eng 7, Eng 1, Tr 2, Eng 23, Eng 15, Eng 27, Salvage Corps Station, Engine 32, Hose 1, High Pressure Pumping Station, Eng 4, Fire Alarm/Hdqts, T-16, Eng 6, Eng 16, ending at Eng 3 on Lombard St where you could pick-up a nice Pastrami sandwich at Attman's.

How about 13 Engine could stand on front ramp look up the street see 25 Engine. Look right and See 1 Eng 11 Truck. All without moving

Bridgeton was using it as a Seagrave loaner until supposedly their new rearmount ladder was done. The tower was a problem child. Seagrave built a few mm towers with R&K aerials that had major issues. Most have been returned and replaced by another Seagrave aerial.

What a unique paint scheme. Any back story on why the truck is gray and red?
