That is one nice looking Rescue!

Anyone know anything about Squad 47 becoming Engine 47? Did they form another Squad in it's place or are they down to 3?

Squad 47 returned to a standard engine co. at the end of June of this year. Down to three squad companies (Squad 26, 40 and 54).

Squad 47's 2003 Pierce is now Squad 85 (reserve) and Engine 47 will be getting Engine 6's replaced 2014 Pierce Dash CF.

Nice looking tower. Is this a replacement for the snorkel or an additional tower?

This is a Reserve Unit. Its going to be replacing the snorkel that was Truck 1/ Truck 51. Its in service currently as Truck 1 , so that if any problems arise,  they can be addressed & fixed now, rather than  later.
Was given a large collection of photos from PA, found these 2 in the mix. Possibly from the early 90's, photo by Barry Fisher
